\"I am a founding member of Mötley Crüe. Based on internal band issues aired publicly, my future with the band is uncertain. I have tried to meet with my bandmates repeatedly without success but have informed them that I\'m not walking away from my band of 25 years. It troubles me that the current legal issues which were filed by the corporations against my personal manager are separating us and causing more dysfunction. I hope we can work this out amongst ourselves.\"
The three other Crüe members,Vince Neil, Nikki Sixx and Mick Mars, filed a complaint against artist manager Carl Stubner. According to the group\'s claim, Stubner forced Tommy Lee to to become engaged in reality tv shows that were bad career moves for Lee, harming the Mötley Crüe brand and Lee\'s own image. Neil, Sixx and Mick Mars claimed that it cost the band 8 million dollars.
Tommy Lee put fuel to the fire by explaining he prefers dj-ing over drumming. In a recent interview with Clubplanet.com, Tommy insisted:
\"I am actually kinda over rock music… If I sit down to write a song, it\'s definitely gonna have beats…but just the old drum sound or cheesy rock guitars…I\'m just like, ugh! I\'m just tired of the same-ole.\"
