Shadows Fall drummer Jason Bittner has issued an update. He claims the group started pre-production for their new album two weeks ago. Producing their efforts is Nick Raskulinecz, who has previously worked with Foo Fighters, Stone Sour and Velvet Revolver among others. Says Bittner:\"All in all, we had a great first run... We can\'t stop talking about how much we think Nick is helping to add some more dimension to this band that we never thought existed... but don\'t start worrying yet, we\'re not cutting our hair and selling out, this record is still going to be heavy as hell!
Jason Bittner is playing at the Meinl Drum Festival in Gutenstetten, Germany on September 9, 2006. Other artists on the roster include Thomas Lang, Benny Greb and Rodney Holmes.
