Ulrich Kusch (photo), former drummer of Helloween and currently part of Masterplan, has rejoined legendary German progressive thrash outfit Mekong Delta.

Kusch is replacing previous sticksman Peter Haas (ex-Krokus, among other bands), who is reportedly too busy to take part in the new album recording sessions.
Uli Kusch is no stranger to Mekong Delta, having previously played with the band on their 1988 EP \"The Gnome\" (using the moniker of Patrick Duval).
Mekong Delta\'s current line-up is completed by mainman Ralf Hubert and guitarist Peter Sjöberg (also known as Peter Lake from Theory In Practice). A suitable singer for the band has not yet been found.
Record label Zardoz Music released a two-CD, 22-song compilation, entitled \"The Principle of Doubt\" in 2005. The double-album contains selections from various Mekong Delta albums.
