Masterplan drummer Uli Kusch has recorded the debut album of his new project Beautiful Sin. Entitled \"The Unexpected\", the album will be released in May via AFM records.

\"The Unexpected\" was produced by Kusch, recorded in 2005 in Belgium and Norway, and mixed by Tommy Hansen at Jailhouse Studios in Denmark.
The album includes original songs and a remake of The Departed Sun Is Going Down, originally by Kusch\' former band Helloween. All songs are arranged by Uli Kusch and Jørn Viggo Lofstad.
Beautiful Sin\'s line-up is completed by bassist Steinar Krokmo, guitarist Jørn Voggo Lofstad (both of Pagan\'s Mind), Masterplan keyboardist Axel Mackenrott and a relatively unknown Belgian female singer by the name of Magali Luyten.
