In November 2005, Hirax frontman Katon W. De Pena was left as the group\'s sole remaining member after the complete line-up, including drummer Dave Chedrick (photo), announced their departure from the band.
As a result of their exit, Hirax\'s Japanese tour was cancelled and the band\'s appearance at this year\'s Keep It True VI festival was called off. See also this news posting on Drummerszone.
