Dave Lombardo wants producer Rick Rubin for the recording of the drums. The rest of the recordings will be done with Dave Sardy, who has previously produced Slayer\'s album \"Undisputed Attitude\".
According to Revolver magazine, Slayer guitarists Kerry King and Jeff Hanneman are currently finishing up the lyrics, which will surely be as scathing, misanthropic, and controversial as anything the Los Angeles musicians have written. One of Hanneman\'s songs is about to address the attacks of 9/11 from the terrorists\' perspective. As King told Revolver: \"We\'re Slayer, dude. We have to be dangerous.\"
Previously Slayer got controversial with songs like Angel of Death, dealing with ruthless Nazi concentration camp doctor Josef Mengele.
Slayer\'s upcoming album will surface on American Recordings\' new home, Warner Bros., sometime in 2006.
