The influential San Francisco punkrockers played their first show as Jawbreaker on March 16, 1989 at Club 88 in Los Angeles. The band delivered several successful albums during the nineties.
Jawbreaker played their last show on May 19, 1996 at the Capital Theater in Olympia, WA. After a month of inactivity, the trio officially disbanded in the summer of 1996.
Adam Pfahler recently recorded with the band Voluptuous Horror of Karen Black in New York. Says the drummer:
\"It was especially cool because we recorded a song with Debbie Harry [of Blondie fame] on vocals. This was like playing with, well, Debbie Harry. She was as cool as you knew she\'d be and even more stunning in person than you could ever imagine.\"
