Adams, manufacturer of drums- and percussion instruments from Ittervoort, the Netherlands, has contracted Mike Schäperclaus as new endorser of Adams Percussion and classical instruments.

Mike started his conservatory at the early age of 15. Studying by marimba soloist Robert van Sice he graduaded in 1996 at the Rotterdams Conservatorium. Besides his regular studies he took lessons from other great masters like Martin Verdonk (latin-percussion), Graham Johns (orchestra) and Leigh Howard Stevens (marimba).
Since 1999 Mike is a member of the Amsterdam Percussion Group from which the Amsterdam Percussion Group Institute was founded. Mike is president and teaches mallets at the Institute.
