The newest member of the Vater family is Stone Sour drummer Roy Mayorga. Besides being an original Soulfly member and currently the drummer for Stone Sour since 2006, he is also a multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer and engineer. Roy has also worked with big names like Crisis, Dave Navarro and Nausea. Roy's new Vater drumsticks are the Rock in Wood Tip.
Roy and Stone Sour hit the road on April 28th for an extensive world-wide tour that runs through the end of 2018, which includes dates with Ozzy Osbourne on the "No More Tours 2" tour. He played his first show as an official Vater artist at the Welcome to Rockville Music Festival in Jacksonville, Florida.
