Percussion great Martin Verdonk started a new project called the 'Martin Verdonk Master Sessions - live from Triple A Music.' The Master Sessions are a music program recorded at the Triple-A-Music studio in Almere, the Netherlands with each month a new episode containing four songs. The sessions are truly Master-Sessions, knowing that the rules of the game are simple: four songs are recorded in four hours, without overdubs or auto tune. All audio and video recordings are live, raw and uncut. Each song must be rehearsed and recorded in one hour. And as you can see in the first two episodes below, the incredible talents in the videos nail it easily.
Initiated by international award winning percussionist Martin Verdonk and renowned sound engineer Lex Amrein, the songs recorded can be vocal or instrumental, and in any style, like pop, rock, blues, funk, soul or Latin-jazz. The recordings often feature international guest artists. Episodes three and four are already recorded and will be published on every 25th of the coming months. We can't wait to see what's coming next. Also included on the right is the short teaser for the Master Sessions.
