The drummer had his right leg amputated below the knee. He also suffered rib and hip fractures, spinal damage and a minor head injury as well as damage to his hands and shoulder in the crash.

Andrew Tkaczyk was released from hospital last month and is undergoing physiotherapy:

"Strengthening that ankle and calf muscles. One day at a time. Be strong."

Last year, The Ghost Inside's tour bus was involved in a collision with a truck as they travelled from Texas to Phoenix near El Paso. The group's tour bus driver and the driver of the other vehicle both died in the horrible crash.

Bandmate Jonathan Vigil, frontman of the band, is also back walking after the accident. He lost several teeth in the crash and will undergo an operation on his right knee and ankle. Guitarist Zach Johnson lost two toes in the accident.
