Juan van Emmerloot releases play along Burnin' the Rules

A few months after the release of his debut album 'Burnin' the Rules', Juan van Emmerloot comes out with the same album, but as a play along for drums. Not only does he play most of the instruments on the album, now he also recorded the click tracks himself. Just because he wanted it to have more than just an annoying click, he recorded shaker and cowbell click tracks for all the songs. The play along is released digitally only and you can buy it at iTunes or listen to it on Spotify.

The album itself is becoming more and more a success since its release a couple of months ago. Even Toto guitarist Steve Lukather loved it.

"My dear old friend Juan has made an amazing album here.
I put it on and it made me smile wide and groove and then it pissed me off cause I found out it was him playing the guitar and he is ripping!
And the drums and writing and producing and...??

Buy this record before I hurt him physically. He may need the money for a Dr. No one should have all that talent! haha (There are some amazing performances by his guest muso friends as well!)

The track in time signature 5/4 that you hear on this video is titled Last Exit and is composed by Sonor artist Juan van Emmerloot.

As a freelance drummer Juan van Emmerloot has toured with a lot of great musicians in he past; recently he played with 'Power Of 3' with Billy Sheehan and Stef Burns. Today Juan is a member of the Stef Burns League; a modern pop rock band formed around guitarist Stef Burns (Huey Lewis & the News). In this band Juan co-writes songs with Stef and Fabio Valdemarin.
