Jamie Byrum, drummer for Black Breath, was hit by a car in his hometown Seattle. The accident happened Tuesday, January 7 and left Jamie with multiple breaks in his left leg.
Jamie underwent surgery yesterday, which went well, and according to the doctors, he is doing better than expected.
It sounds like the drummer will be released from the hospital in the next few days depending on his ability to stand up/move around/kick ass. Says the band:
"Jamie is in good spirits considering the state of his life at the moment, and was very appreciative of all the love and concern from friends and strangers alike."
