Ahmir Thompson, best known as drummer for award-winning hiphop group The Roots, producer and author Questlove, will be releasing his second book at the end of this month.
The official release date is set for October 22. The new book comes less than six months since his best selling memoir, 'Mo' Meta Blues: The World According to Questlove' hit the stores.
This time Questlove returns with a historical look at one of the most influential shows in American television history that became a cultural phenomeno: Soul Train.
'Soul Train: The Music, Dance, and Style of a Generation', commemorates the legacy of the long-running dance program that launched the careers of many great artists - from Tina Turner and Stevie Wonder to Aretha Franklin and the Jackson 5.
Questlove tells the story of a generation's most memorable variety show, with more than 350 photos, a foreword from Gladys Knight, and a preface by Nick Cannon.
'Soul Train: The Music, Dance, and Style of a Generation' can now be pre-ordered for $27.
