Australian master drummer, chops wizard and frequent drum clinician Virgil Donati will release his new solo album, 'In This Life', tomorrow, July 23rd.
Over a year in the making, Virgil's upcoming album promises his never-ending superiority behind the drum kit, along with the talents of other world renowned musicians.
The album features guest appearances by Doug Shreeve, Marco Sfogli, Dennis Hamm, Alex Argento, Brett Garsed, Irwin Thomas, Alex Machacek, Paul Sherman, Anthony Crawford, Tom Kennedy, Jeff Babko, Rafael Moreira, and Simon Hosford.
You can pre-order 'In This Life' at Virgil Donati's webshop. If you pre-order the album before July 23 12:00 am, you'll automatically have a chance to win one of Virgil's personal snare drums used on the album, and have his autograph on it too.
Both cd and digital album pre-orders will be able to download their digital copy of the album on release day.

Solo debut Virgil Donati's first solo album, 'Stretch', was released in 1995. It was initially intended as a sampler for the first issue of Drumscene Magazine, but the small scale production recorded in one afternoon ended being Virgil's solo debut record.
