Jacob Edwards, lead drummer for the Avett Brothers from January 2010 until December 2012, was fired from the folk band after he confronted guitarist Seth Avett about his affair with Dexter actress Jennifer Carpenter.
According to celebrity news annex gossip site RadarOnline.com, the drummer was let go from the group after he and his wife confronted Seth over his infidelity and voiced their disproval.
RadarOnline.com states that Susan and Seth separated long before he announced their divorce on June 11, but not before he began his relationship with Jennifer.
Last December, Jacob announced that he was "suddenly and unexpectedly in the market for a new job because things with the band got too uncomfortable."
Jacob has since found a new job as a drummer for Son Volt, an alternative country group. He is on tour with this band through August 2013.
