During the trek Tommy had played his drum solo from inside the rollercoaster, mostly upside down. The custom Pearl E-Pro Live kit debuted during the band's 30-year anniversary tour 2011.

It served as a revamped version of the percussive light show Lee used in tours during the late 1980s. The original spinning drum kit brought Lee out over the audience for his solo, while simultaneously turning him, his kit and drum riser at a 90-degree angle.

After the final show Tommy tweeted "Bye Bye Rollercoaster of Love!" The band reportedly smashed a bottle of champagne over the 40-foot loop that was used for the drummer's eight minute-long solo.

The 360, also known as the Loop, had a passenger seat for one lucky fan to ride with Tommy Lee at each show. Tommy usually performed one or two complete rotations on the roller coaster himself, along with a couple of half-rotations as teasers, before taking on an audience member for an additional two or three turns.
