Nick stepped in and teamed up with Foote's sales director, Rob Wilson, to save the London drum store where he purchased his first drum kit for £7.50 in 1958. Charles Ernest Foote founded the landmark store in 1920 on the basis it was run by musicians for musicians. The same is true today at their new premises in Store Street, off Tottenham Court Road, London.
