According to police reports, Terence was likely hit while riding his bike around 5:15am between Metropolitan and Stewart avenues in Bushwick, New York.

Terence was found with major head trauma with his bike next to him. He was taken to Woodhull Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

Total Slacker frontman Tucker Rountree mourned the loss of his bandmate on his facebook page, writing:

"We're unbelievably heart broken, our drummer Terence Connor was killed in a hit and run accident while riding his bike early this morning. Sending all our love to his family and friends."

Total Slacker had just begun to record its second album, a follow-up to its 2010 release 'Trashin'.

A free show in memory of Terence is in the works and will be held at the DIY Brooklyn venue 285 Kent.
