This coming June 29 through July 2, Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts will be playing with his own ABC & D of Boogie Woogie band at the Iridium jazz club in New York City.
In celebration of The Rolling Stones' 50th Year, Charlie will perform with his other band on June 29 and 30 and on July 1, and he'll join the Les Paul Trio in their weekly salute to their late bandleader on July 2.

Charlie Watts has been drummer for the Rolling Stones since the beginning in January 1962. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1989 and into the Modern Drummer magazine Hall of Fame in 2006. In 2010 Charlie was also ranked as one of the Top Ten World’s Best Drummers by the raders of Rolling Stone magazine.
Over the past two decades, Charlie has been able to pursue his passion for jazz, playing in a variety of settings whenever he wasn’t otherwise engaged with the Stones.
