In related news about Keith Moon: a "lost" comedy album featuring the iconnic drummer alongside late comedians Peter Cook and Dudley Moore has been discovered in a producer's vault. In 1975 Keith spent two days at BBC Studio performing nine sketches in the vein of comedic troupe Monty Python. The skits were planned for release but somehow the recording was shelved.
The tapes were thought to have been lost for good when producer John Walters died in 2001. But last month Nick Gomm, who worked on the album as a studio engineer, recently discovered his own tape of the sessions in his personal archives.
