Peter Erskine, who has worked with Weather Report, Steps Ahead and many other jazz luminaries, will play a varied programme including works specially commissioned for this concert.

Among them are compositions such as A Bird Sings, Fullness of Time, I Remember You, Scotland Africa and Stompin' at the Savoy.

The evening will also feature an in-depth interview with Peter Erskine by Neil Percy, Principal Percussionist with the London Symphony Orchestra and Head of Timpani and Percussion at the Royal Academy of Music.

Last but not least Neil and Royal Academy of Music's Head of Jazz, Nick Smart, will direct a variety of ensembles in this not-to-be-missed programme.
