The Paiste Formula 602 22" Medium Ride and the 2002 10" Mega Bell are the last in our coverage of the new products the Swiss cymbal company introduced for 2015. Alicia Warrington, currently playing with Kate Nash and known for her playing with Kelly Osbourne, Lillix, Miley Cyrus and many others, hosted the press conference at NAMM this year. She demos and gives the details on these cymbals. With these two cymbals, the total count of new products from Paiste for 2015 comes to 16. That is a lot to put on the market. All products show Paiste is still on top of the market, never losing a gram in creativity, versatility and sound quality.
With the new medium ride the Formula 602 Classic Sounds series now has thirteen models and the count of the 2002's is now twenty. To sum it all up, these are all the new cymbals from Paiste with links to the other new products.
Stewart Copeland demoed his 12" Signature Combo Crisp Hi-Hat, better known as 'The Rhythmatist' as well. While he was at it, he hit all the new Paiste cymbals for 2015 as well. We added this funny video, with some good lessons on how to listen and enjoy cymbals as well.
One-Woman Brutal Death Metal This year, Alicia Warrington is one of the jury members for the Hit Like A Girl contest. Other recent news is the release of Dorhn's (Alicia's One-Woman Brutal Death Metal band) first single, Becoming the Disease. It features all her talents; Alicia produced, mixed, wrote and performed all instruments on the track.
