Aerosmith's longtime sticksman is still recovering from rotator cuff (shoulder) surgery. Yet he will be performing with the group when they hit the road with Lenny Kravitz.
However, Joey's sticks-wielding son Jesse Kramer will be ready to pound the skins when his father's pain becomes overbearing and he takes time out from the group's set to ice his shoulder backstage.
According to the Boston Herald, 24 years old Jesse is rehearsing with the band after getting a crash course on the old and new Aerosmith songs from his old man.
