Veteran rockers Aerosmith start touring next month to promote their new live CD 'Rockin' the Joint'. However, according to newspaper The Boston Globe, Aerosmith drummer Joey Kramer (photo) may not be on board when the band hits the road.

Joey Kramer is currently recovering from a shoulder injury, so the band will - at least temporarily - play without their regular hitman. One possible replacement is Joey's son, Jesse Kramer, a drummer as well.
It would not be the first time for Jesse to sit behind his father's drum kit. He played four Aerosmith songs during a spectacular soundcheck in 2002 in Osaka, Japan.
Aerosmith's DualDisc release 'Rockin' the Joint' will be released in October via Columbia Records. The album features highlights from a January 11, 2002, club show at the Las Vegas venue bearing the same name.
