One of the drummers we met at the annual NAMM show in Anaheim, California in 2015, was drummer, educator, author and Zildjian artist Sean Kennedy. He recently published his new method 'Sixty-Second Solos for Snare Drum, Timpani, and Mallet Instruments'. Not a thick book, but one that gives students a way to study audition etudes in a way that all the techniques necessary are covered in smaller pieces of one minute.
