Suds always had a hard on for doing an EP covering cult Australian bands. And fuck knows there are legions of them! What we did not do however, is go for the typical ones that everyone covers. Same as we never recorded a Celtic Frost cover he he! Anyways, we chose a tune from Tyrus, the band that preceded Hobb's Angel Of Death, a cut from a punk rock band called WAR and finally, the coup de grace, an unreleased Armoured Angel song.
Most of the lyrics from 'Bullet In The Head' were rewritten as were a percentage of 'Cold Steel, Warm Death's'. No point in doing a song if you are afraid to put a little of yourself into it right?
This record featured the line up of Jason Healey (bass and vocals), Suds (drums) and Saundies (guitars) and sold out really fast... in fact, the day it was released according to Jorn Soulseller.
Issued in 500 copies, with the first 100 on White vinyl, and the
following 400 on Black.
