Varus Drums was born from a simple idea: to create drums that break limits. Founded by Thomas Mantovani in 2013, Varus is a boutique drum company based in Spain (Europe), dedicated to building handcrafted drums with a strong identity, exceptional sound, and a unique visual character.
Every Varus drum is made with care, patience, and attention to detail. We do not believe in mass production or standard instruments without personality. Each kit and snare drum is created as a unique piece, combining selected woods, refined craftsmanship, custom finishes, and a deep respect for the drummer’s sound.
