The new and innovative Powerstix illuminated drumsticks are molded from high impact resistant Polycarbonate. This material makes them resistant to breakage thus extending the life up to 10 times as long as typical wood drumsticks.
Powerstix features an interchangeable light module, which slides into the back of the drumstick. With a quarter twist the drumsticks light up creating an awesome visual effect. Powerstix light modules are available in several different colors to create whatever mood or effect desired.
In addition Powerstix have rubber molded grips which acts as an anti-shock feature and prevents slippage. A nylon tip has been incorporated to create crisp articulate cymbal sounds. The drumsticks are similar to a 2B in size. They are 16\" long, .625\" in diameter and weigh 91 grams. The grip adds 1/16\" all around and an additional 8 grams to the stick.
