Kumu Drums is a small Finnish family business founded by Pekka Helasen, who has been making high-quality drum sets by hand since 1984. First under the moniker of Kunikunda. Helasen started using the name Kumu Drums in 2007.

In addition to the best Finnish professional musicians, their clients include recording studios, music schools, marching bands, as well as semi-pros and amateur players who only want the best. Kumu drums are found all over the world in several countries.
