Soniccouture are Dan Powell and James Thompson. They met whilst employed by Yamaha R&D as sound designers, where they were responsible for shaping the sonic palettes of such landmark products as AN1X, FSIR, VL1, EX5, Motif and Motif ES.
They have also designed sounds and content for Native Instruments, Arturia, AMG, and Propellerheads.
James and Dan left Yamaha, and began working together on sound design projects such as sample library design, music for TV advertising, and film. They now offers a range of next-generation sampled instruments for Hi-tech musicians.
