History: In the spring of 2012, we had this great idea whilst practicing rudiments and technique on a pillow to help us develop our double strokes' speed. One of us stopped and said, "Hey, you know what, I'm always inclined to use the whole pillow as a drum kit... But it's kinda frustrating as I can't see where I'm going and what I'm hitting!". Then, the almighty question "Wouldn't it be awesome if..." filled the room, and thus CHOPZzz was born - out of necessity, out of love and fun! And these are the exact principles that govern everything CHOPZzz-related.
And so, the CHOPZzz pillowcase is only the beginning... World drummination doesn't happen overnight, but might as well sleep on something funky until then.
