Wang Lan began to learn percussion at the age of 13 and at 19 joined his first band Overload. The band went on to make three albums, Overloading, Magical Blue Sky and Blooming
It was in 1997 that he established Zhouren with three other artists. Their albums currently out include,Zhouren,Bleeding and Aircraft Factory
Wang Lan has also worked with artists such as Quijan, Zhanggou, Zhangchu and Xuwai.
