Vom Ritchie was born as Stephen George Ritchie on August 6, 1964 in Billericay, England.



He has been drumming with Die Toten Hosen since 1998, replacing previous sticksman Wolfgang Rohde.



Previously Vom Ritchie drummed in Spittin' Vicars, and The Boys. He's also playing with Corner Boys and Wet Dog.



Ritchie's first band was The Eairaids. He joined Jackel In in 1980, followed by Miracle Babies and Support Plus.



In 2007 Ritchie started his own record company named Drumming Monkey Records. One of the first releases was Wet Dog's debut album 'Perfect Crime'.
