Victor Gallego drummer of the Colombian death metal band Masacre, passed away on October 30, 2005.
Victor Gallego had been in Masacre since 1992. Previously he had played drums in a local band called Sabotage and recorded a demo tape with them. With Masacre Gallego recorded three CDs, including their most recent release, "Total Death", which came out in 2004. The follow-up to 2001's "Muerte Verdadera Muerte", "Total Death" was recorded at Sirio Studio in Bogota, Colombia in March-April 2003 and was mixed and mastered by Erik Rutan (Morbid Angel, Hate Eternal) at Mana Recording Studios in Tampa, Florida in July-August 2003.
Victor Gallego had over twelve years of musical experience. He studied history before playing in Masacre.
