Travis Demsey was the drummer of Australian band the Living End from 1997 until 2002. After their original drummer quit the band, Chris Cheney and Scott Owen, the two remaining members, recruited Trav in a Melbourne music store at which he worked.
Throughout his time in The Living End Travis Demsey became famous for his massive bouts of energy. Trav played at the Homebake Festival in 2000 with a broken ankle. Trav left the band due to a growing dislike of heavy touring.
After the Living End, he formed a band called 'the Knockout Drops' with a few of his drinking friends. He currently plays drums for Melbourne Celt-punk band The Currency.
