Tim is the Percussion Director for Centerville (OH) High School, and is the visual designer and program coordinator for WGI Independent World ensemble Rhythm X of Columbus, OH. Centerville High School is a perennial Bands of America Grand Nationals finalist. His Centerville Scholastic World percussion ensemble has performed in WGI finals annually since 1998, winning PSO in 1999. In 2000 they jumped to PSW, making finals every year, taking the Gold Medal in 2004 and the Silver Medal in 2005. In the last two years, Centerville has also brought a PSA line to the floor to complement the World line, this year making finals in PSA. Tim is a member of the WGI Board of Directors, in addition to serving on the Percussion Advisory Board and Steering Committee, and is currently the Vice President of the MEPA Circuit, heading the Percussion division. Additionally, Tim has been doing both visual and musical design for Rhythm X in PIW, medaling in 2004, 2005 and 2006, as well as designing for Aimachi (Nagoya, Japan), the 2006 WGI Bronze Medalist. Tim was also an integral part of the WGI Educational DVD “The Visual Buzz”. As a performer, Tim was the section leader for the 1996 DCI World Champion Phantom Regiment. For the last five years, Tim has been a member of the DCI Judging Team and, this past summer, worked with The Bluecoats from Canton, OH. In addition to being an Innovate Percussion Signature artist, Tim has endorsements with Dynasty, Remo, and Sabian and is an internationally in-demand clinician, consultant, designer and adjudicator.
