Tim Chewning joined award-winning Columbia Records country group Rcochet in 1999, replacing original drummer Jeff Bryant. Bryant has a degenerative case of carpal tunnel syndrome, which effects the wrists and forearms, requiring surgery.
Tim Chewning first performed in his new capacity as Ricochet's drummer on Wednesday, August 11, 1999 in Rifle, Colorado.
Tim Chewning was no stranger to the stage or the road. He had already played drums for John Michael Montgomery, Kathy Mattea and the Elektra/Asylum rock group the Shaking Family.
