Tad Leger got his first world wide fame with is innovative playing in eighties thrash band Toxik.
After Toxik, Tad Leger joined Blackened Sky, an extreme metal band with influences ranging from Death, Voivod, Motorhead and Black Sabbath. September 2004 saw them releasing a CD-set. Disc one featuring both demos and some unreleased extras digitally remastered from the original source tapes. Disc two was a DVD containing nearly two hours of video, featuring live shows, rehearsals and even footage of the recording of the ‘Teratoma’ demo.
As of late 2000 Leger was the only Toxik member actively playing, in a band called Sons Of Celluloid.
Previously he had played in Prime Evil, an American death/thrash metal band that got formed in 1986 and got pretty famous in the underground scene of that time. Prive Evil also featured Mary Ciullo of Incantation repute. Leger was follwed up by Todd Gukelberger in 1987.
In December 2005 former Toxik drummer Tad Leger created a new project called Lucertola (Italin for "lizard").
