Stu Boy King was the original drummer in The Dictators, when they formed in 1974.



Immediately after the release of the band's debut album "The Dictators Go Girl Crazy!", King took a hike and various troubles beset the band, resulting in a two-year delay before a follow-up was issued on another label. By then, drummer/singer Ritchie Teeter had joined the band as a successor for King.
