Drummer Steve West joined indie-rock band Pavement in 1993, after the tour for their debut album "Slanted & Enchanted". West replaced initial sticksman Gary Young, the man responsible for much of the band's eccentric live behavior.



Currently Steve West plays in the band Danger Danger. He lives in Lexington, Virginia. He has two children and works as a stonemason.
