A native of Charleston, South Carolina, Steve has been playing drums since the age of four. He has played in numerous bands, tours, and studio sessions throughout L.A., Nashville, and New York, where he found his home, performing and writing with Metal Health Association.



Steve Tobin is the former drummer of Brooklyn, New York’s Dust to Dust (Sanctuary Records). Two cd’s were released: a self-titled one and "Sick". They toured with Type O Negative and Dave Navarro. Dust to Dust were featured in Metal Edge and Hit Parader magazines; Steve Tobin was featured in Modern Drummer magazine.



Steve Tobin is endorsed by Pro-mark Sticks and Evans Drum Heads. Steve recently recorded an instrumental rock/prog rock cd with guitarist Mike Orlando (endorsed by Zakk Wylde), and has done numerous studio sessions in L.A., Nashville, and New York.



His musical influences include about everybody. Some of his favorite bands are Black Sabbath, Ozzy, Black Label Society, Pantera, Damage Plan, Led Zeppelin, Ronnie Montrose, Van Halen, Judas Priest, Rob Halford, Kings X, and Dream Theater.
