Steve Jacobs replaced Paul Bostaph in San Francisco Bay Area's Forbidden in 1994, as Bostaph left to join Slayer. Forbidden released two studio albums with Jacobs before they disbanded in 1997.
Shortly after the demise of Forbidden, Steve showed up in Manmade God. The band appears to have split up following the departure of vocalist Pann and an apparent split with their record label, American Recordings.
According to a posting at SMNNews.com in April 2004, the remnants of Manmade God, including Steve Jacobbs, have hooked up with Systematic frontman Tim Narducci in a musical project named Spiralarms.
Systematic was one of the first groups signed to Lars Ulrich's now-defunct imprint The Music Company (distributed through Elektra Records). The band broke up following an April 9 show in Livermore, California.
