Steve Arguelles has been a major force on the British scene, ever since he became the 'house drummer' at Ronnie Scott's at the age of just 17.
He was one of the founders of Loose Tubes and of the original Human Chain, with Django Bates. Constantly in demand in Britain and overseas, he is also co-leader of The Recyclers with Benoit Delbecq and is a member of the trios of John Taylor, Dieter Ilg and Robert Dick.
Jazz drummer Arguelles has also recorded with Danish singer Susi Hyldgaards, John Wolf Brennan, Omar Sosa, Sebastien Tellier, Helena, Dimitri from Paris, Domenico Ferrari, Beth Hirsch, Nguyên Lê among many others. Steve Arguelles has also founded his own Steve Arguelles Quintet.
