Steve Wolz plays the drums in Imperia since June 2004, when he replaced Ariën van Weesenbeek (God Dethroned). When Helena Michaelsen decided to make a new start, Wolz joined his fellow musicians from Imperia and continued as Angel.
Previously Wolz hit the skins with experimental metallers Bethlehem, replacing Markus Lossen. He can be hearsd on the releases "Schatten Aus Der Alexanderwelt" and "Profane Fetmilch lenzt Elf Krank".
He also worked with Deinonychus, Silencer (on "Death, Pierce Me"), Halgadom (on "Sein Und Werden") and Dakria (on "Immortal Silent Heaven"), and was featured on the 2002 demo "The Dreams Are Dead" by A-Rise.
Wolz credits Nick Barker, Mike Portnoy and Krzysztof “Doc” Raczkowski as musical influences.
