Simon Gonk, or The Gonk as he is mostly called, played drums in AntiProduct.
Ever wonder what happened to the wild men, loose cannon drummers of the world? Well, they're all dead. All except one... The Gonk! While other drummers whine about their horrible childhoods, and their pain, "The Gonk" longs only to hit things and party. A devotee and connoisseur of all things Metal, he's already been described as an "unstoppable powerhouse".
Wait till they see him play the drums. He'll be the first one to crack his skull open with his drum kit, and still party the night away with wild abandon. With influences like Keith Moon, John Bonham, "The Maiden" and AC/DC, a propensity for ramming, breaking and opening things with his head, and a back beat and style that would make Ringo jealous, a love for beer and (you didn't hear this from us) and certain phamaceuticals, and a heart of Gold eclipsed only by his rampant ego, he's the giant Teddy bear with fangs you've always wanted, loved and feared. You've missed Simon "The Gonk" and you didn't even know he was around.
Incidentally, Simon was the only member of AntiProduct to have been auditioned. He was brought into the fold three days before the band set off on it's first tour.
Early 2005 AntiProduct toured through Europe with Gaff Grit behind the kit. In June 2005 The Gonk was permanently replaced by former Anthrax/Zakk Wylde/White Lion drummer Greg D'Angelo.
