Independent artist Sergio Ponti studied with Mokhtar Samba (Yousson N'dour, Salif Keita, Richard Bona, Jean Luc Ponty) And Jay Dittamo (Band From Utopia, Junoon).



Sergio Ponti has played with Mike Keneally (solo artist, Frank Zappa, Steve Vai, Robert Fripp), Arthur Barrow (Zappa, Giorgio Moroder, Diana Ross, Joe Cocker), Ian Anderson, SFOM Orchestra, Bernardo Lanzetti (PFM) and many others. He played in two editions of the Los Angeles' NAMM show.



Sergio Ponti organized clinic tours for Ellade Bandini, Marco Minnemann, Clive Bunker and Horacio Hernandez.



More recently Ponti played with Italian group Illogicist and with American band Ephel Duath.
