Septimiu H?r?an (aka Septimus) is a Romanian drummer currently affiliated to the infamous Dutch death metal band Disavowed and the legendary Patrick Mameli's (Pestilence) current band Neuromorph, as well as other very stylistically diverse bands and projects ranging from death metal to electronic music, progressive rock and funk/fusion, such as Necrovile (death metal), Aria Urban? (drum'n'bass/trip hop/dub), The Thirteenth Sun (atmospheric/progressive rock), Code Red (death metal), Autokrator (industrial death metal) or Spectral (technical death metal) as well as doing lots of session gigs.
Born on the 18th of September 1987, Septimiu is a classically trained percussionist and began studying drums and musical theory/harmony from the age of 12. Since then, he played with a variety of musical acts, gaining experience in very diverse musical climates, playing various musical styles and developing different approaches on the instrument. Septimiu has toured Europe several times with death metal band Necrovile and currently has an extremely busy schedule touring internationally with various bands such as Disavowed (Netherlands), Implore (Germany) and Necrovile (Romania) as well as Romania with Aria Urbana, Code Red and Indian Fall and is also a very in-demand studio drummer.
Septimiu lives in Transylvania, Romania, in the city of Bra?ov and is currently the first and only Romanian drummer to be featured in Sick Drummer Magazine.
