Sander Jacobs was drummer in Dutch death metal band Ceremony of Opposites until he parted ways in July 2009, after the release of the 'Seeds of Resurrection' ep. Sander was followed up by Tim Verheijden (ex-Nihilistic).
Sander's craving for banging on drums, unfortunately for parents and neighbours, started really early. Sander Jacobs' biography - in his own words:
When I was about 10 years old I got my first real drumkit. After a few years it was trash. Now I'm the owner of an acoustic and an electric drumkit.
In 1995 I started a metalband with my brother (who's playing in Textures now) called Ground Control.
In 1996 we released our first demo. Later, in 1998, we released a full length cd which was received very well. In 2001 Ground Control was dissolved.
After 2 years of searching I started playing with Jimmy D. This didn't go so well, so in 2004 I decided to quit and focus on a new refreshing start.
Through and advertisement on internet I came in contact with Marcel. I was asked to play drums with Ceremony Of Opposites. This offer seemed cool to me, so I have big expectations. The rest lays in the future...
