Sal Abruscato played drums in Type O Negative until he decided to join hardcore merchants Life of Agony in 1993. Johnny Kelly took the vacant spot in Type O Negative.



Sal Abruscato exited Life of Agony in 1995, where Dan Richardson took his place, but returned with the band's reunion in 2003.



2008 saw Sal Abruscato forming a new project called My Mortality.
